Air beneath their wings
A film by Justus Lodemann
This documentary explores the topic of marginalisation and social innovation closely following two approaches co-developed by researchers of the research project CrESSI (Creating Economic Space for Social Innovation): a) the Hungarian Way-out-Program, co-designed by Gyorgyi Molnár to tackle the marginalization of Roma communities; b) Open access to credit, developed by Christopher Houghton-Budd to teach financial literacy to young people and marginalized communities, and to more generally change the way our societies think about finance. Both approaches share a primary focus on marginalised individuals and communities as agents worthy of trust and investment in their agency.
