Dropping back

A film by Justus Lodemann, 2012 (Slovak, with English subtitles)

Since the 1990s Michal Kravcik and the Slovak NGO People and Water promote a system of small dams and water holdings for water retention to provide security against floods and to increase the water supply for people and nature. In 2010, they  convinced the government of the Slovak Republic to launch a programme on flood prevention and revitalization. The film shows the implementation of this program in Slovak villages and settlements.
